What is Elegance?

For me elegance is not always the perfect makeup, flawless hair, stylish dress and matching jewelry. An elegant lady dresses, behaves and chooses words appropriately, for any place and situation. Understanding the environment, the energy of the situation and the people around you helps an elegant lady make decisions about the appropriate outfit, jewelry and words. Just like it’s a poor choice to wear ripped jeans and washed out tee shirt to a black-tie Gala, it also looks silly to have full makeup, precious jewels and stiletto shoes on a beach. Being elegant is selecting the appropriate outfit, makeup and behavior for a place, an activity and a group of people while keeping within your personal style and taste.
