Say Yes to Adventure!

Sometimes adventure travel really means adventure! One time I was invited to stay at Puerto Rico's Bamboo Tree House Hotel. My rule in life is to say "Yes" for things I haven't tried before.

After a short non-stop flight from Chicago I found myself in this charming tree house hotel with a bug net over the mattress, coffee pot, and a shower with water collected from the rain (recommended to take shower in the afternoon when the sun heats the water up). The mystic sounds of nature, frogs, birds, rain were magical! It was truly exhilarating to go hiking in the rainforest and see the amazing waterfalls and vegetation. I loved falling asleep to the sounds of the Couqi frogs and waking up to see the sunrise.

This was one of the most "raw" places I have ever stayed, but memories of it are the richest and longest lasting.

So my rule goes- Say "Yes" to things never tried before!
