Cycling Benefits for Entrepreneurs

I love cycling and had great adventures cycling across the world - Death Valley, from Florence to Rome, Italy…. Ahhhh….beautiful rolling hills with a lot of ups and downs. And of course – Chicago’s Lake Shore Drive has a great 36 mile path on the lake.  

Here are a few things I like about cycling that helps me as Entrepreneur:
-Discipline – cycling training requires regular training, diet, trip planning and sleep. Taking care of the body is just as important for high performance in business is it is in fitness.
-Pushing your limits outside your comfort zone – there is always a moment in a rider I want to stop – hill is too steep, it’s too hot, it’s too windy. Cycling teaches me go beyond my comfort zone on a bike and in business world.
-Consistency – is a key in cycling training and in business success. Extensive training and perfect diet one week and skipping workouts while eating junk food next week will not get me to the finish line. Consistency in business is just as important – in social media campaign, in delivery, in quality.
-Perseverance - Never give up - every cyclist's motto whatever their endeavors may be. We are entrepreneurs are the same – we never give up!
