Russian Pointe completes EXPORTECH program
EXPORTECH is an Export Acceleration System for Achieving Profitable Growth that was organized by Metro Chicago Exports in partnership with FedEx, IMEC, the Illinois Department of Commerce and many other organizations. The program consisted of three full-day sessions and seminars that were spread throughout a couple of weeks. Russian Pointe was not only selected to participate, but also successfully completed the program.
Over the course of several sessions, many guest speakers kindly shared their expertise with participants. Australian, Canadian and Mexican trade representatives, based in Illinois, also attended EXPORTECH and shared a lot of useful information in regards to laws and regulations and initial steps for exporting in their respective regions of the world. Participating companies, including Russian Pointe, also had the opportunity togive an hour long presentation about their export plan based on all information and data learned throughout previous sessions. Each presentation was followed by a very constructive Q&A session from a panel of experts.
As the president of Russian Pointe, I am very proud to have been given the opportunity to participate in this intensive course. Our company has been exporting for years now; nevertheless, we finished this course equipped with new tools and knowledge about where to go as an organization to export more efficiently, more effectively, and share our beautiful products with dancers worldwide.
